Composer, Flautist & Teacher
Nicholas Sabisky is a multi-talented musician, being a composer, flautist and teacher. He has completed a postgraduate degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, specialising in composition.
Over the years, Nicholas has developed a unique musical style, making use of extended techniques and focussing on elements of contemporary exploration within his compositions and performances. He also specialises in composing swing and folk music, often utilising improvisation to develop his works.
Nicholas has gained multiple music awards from Beckenham Festival, and the North London Music Festival. He has also performed in the Royal Albert Hall, The Coliseum, Barbican, Guildhall, the Royal Academy, Royal College, and many other prestigious venues around London.
Nicholas now spends his time teaching, leading workshops and working on commissions.
MusicOnWheels Bus Tour will be reopening, starting next Sunday (01/05/22) at Holland Park, and then the remaining Sundays in May:

- 29/05, Holland Park (again!)
We are running our usual sessions; Music Mayhem (10:00-11:15) aimed at learners just starting out; Improvising Instrumental (11:30-12:15) aimed at intermediate learners; and our afternoon Beginners Workshops (14:00-16:00) for those completely new to music to try out a different instruments.

FLUTE FLIGHT FESTIVAL/ COMPETITON

Flute Flight is an international competition with entries from all over the globe. This year the 'theme' is music that is loosely inspired by folk, traditional and ethnic music from anywhere in the world or improvisation!
The festival will culminate in a winners concert and seminar which will take place on Zoom and YouTube and feature performances by a variety of musicians.
Included in this concert will be Nicholas Sabisky's performance of his award winning composition: Flute Stomp.
