Composer, Flautist & Teacher
NICHOLAS SABISKY
Nicholas Sabisky is a multi-talented musician, being a composer, flautist and teacher. He has completed a postgraduate degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, specialising in composition.
Over the years, Nicholas has developed a unique musical style, making use of extended techniques and focussing on elements of contemporary exploration within his compositions and performances. He also specialises in composing swing and folk music, often utilising improvisation to develop his works.
Nicholas has gained multiple music awards from Beckenham Festival, and the North London Music Festival. He has also performed in the Royal Albert Hall, The Coliseum, Barbican, Guildhall, the Royal Academy, Royal College, and many other prestigious venues around London.
Nicholas now spends his time teaching, leading workshops and working on commissions.

CULTURAL FUSION 2023

As we usher in the Year of the Rabbit on the lunar calendar, the 2nd edition of Cultural Fusion hops from Oceania to Europe, presenting six London-based Asian artists who add to the canon of the multicultural vibe of the international art hub. Hiroko Imada, Yarli Allison, Xiaoyuan Wu, Mizuki Nishiyama, Hyemin Gil, and Noel Zhang exhibit their unique narratives through thoughtfully curated artworks that explore a multitude of dimensions of cultural fusion.
Featuring compositions and performances by Nicholas Sabisky alongside Hiroko's artworks in an online fusion event.
